Analysis of molecules involved in the regulation of intracellular phenomena

In the cells that form our body, numerous phenomena are precisely controlled, such as transcription of genes, protein synthesis, and transport of the gene products to cellular compartments. This is called gene expression. Abnormalities in gene expression cause various diseases. We aim to elucidate the molecular mechanism of abnormal expression of genes related to Alzheimer's disease (AD) or cancer exacerbation which will lead to the development of therapeutic agents.
